When it comes to what to drink with a great meal, Italians don’t limit themselves to wine and limoncello ~ they also enjoy good Scotch!  Why don’t you branch out, too, on Saturday, March 24, when the Italian Club of Dallas presents a Scotch tasting and dinner featuring the exceptional Scotch whiskies of Dalmore.  Established in the Scottish Highlands in 1830 and acquired by Whyte & Mackay in 2001, Dalmore produces the finest of single malt Scotch whiskies.

 Chef Tommaso will create one of his excellent four-course dinners, with each course designed to complement each individual Scotch.  Whyte & Mackay representative Trent Roberts will guide participants through the tasting, with products ranging from a15 year-old single malt to the magnificent 1263 King Alexander III single malt.  Door prizes and a raffle featuring gifts donated by Whyte & Mackay will add the final touch to the festivities.  You may think that all Scotches are the same ~ or that Scotch isn’t really the drink for you ~ but this event will show you otherwise.  Each pour will highlight the individuality of the product and will show that there is a Scotch for every palate.

 Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind evening featuring outstanding cuisine, drinks, and fellowship in the Clubhouse’s warm and welcoming setting.  Cocktails will be served at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m.  Look for the menu to be posted on our website.  The cost for the event is $50 for ICD Members and $60 for ICD Guests.  Reservations are required by March 21.
